About the Role
This role combines an understanding of both engineering and coding. The incumbent works with various departments to create and develop systems software and analyze data to improve existing systems.
*Participate in the analysis, design and development activities related to our applications.
*Define and set development, test, release, update and support processes for DevOps operations.
*Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently.
*Maintain and troubleshoot applications and associated infrastructure.
*Implement various development, testing and automation tools.
*Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.
*Translate loosely defined requirements into solutions.
*Use programming languages or scripting methodologies to solve problems with a custom workflow.
*Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
*Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
*Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers.
*Performance management of our application and its associated infrastructure.
*Build an internal wiki with technical documentation and manuals.
*Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
*Incidence management and root cause analysis.
*Perform other related duties as requested.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is strongly preferred.
7+ years of experience developing engineering applications (standalone, mobile and web-based) for a large corporation on the Windows platform.
Significant experience with Windows operating system, databases and web/mobile server environments.
Experience with applicatoin support preferred.
Ability to work together with teams from several locations to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
Administer and deploy development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab or Jenkins.
Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Process oriented with great documentation skills.
Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
Preferred skillset: .Net, Angular, MSSql, C#, Java.
